hard to find mag
inherited my Browning medalist from my father, only had one mag,wanted/needed another one. After a quick web search, found it here. Ordering was easy, delivery was quick, mag fit perfectly.Only complaint is the price, wish it was cheaper but it was still tolerable
Browning Medalist Magazines
A constant challenge shooting a weapon no longer in production is ensuring you have magazines available. These I purchased two magazines for my Browning Medalist and they function perfectly and are ringers for the originals except the don't have "Browning" on the base plate. TripleK, the manufacturer has crafted an outstanding product. Now if they will just make some for my Mauser HSc!
Magazine for a Challanger ! .22 pistol
Over 18 months ago I left my contact information in case you could find a magazine for the 1967 manufactured pistol. You both found it AND notified me! Thank you, It works great.
Browning Challenger Magazine
I ordered this magazine because I only had one when I bought the gun at auction. If it gets misplaced, my gun becomes a hammer (and I have plenty of hammers already). So a second magazine is always a great idea! This magazine is identical to the factory Browning Magazine that came with my original Browning Nomad (uses Challenger magazines), that was made in 1973. The only thing missing is the Browning name on the butt plate. I headed to the range, and the two of us cycled about 200 rounds of 22 cal bullets. All three were from different but common manufacturers. The velocity varied as well. We had zero issues. The magazine was fully loaded with 10 rounds each time. Every load fed perfect, with no adjustment needed to the magazine. As always, I keep my guns clean, so I cleaned them afterwards. I also run a swab down the inside of the magazine to clean any residue out of the inside and lightly lube the slide. A+ quality and fit. It slid easily into my gun and released as it should. There was no difference between this magazine and the original. BTW, I paid full price for this magazine and have zero incentive to write a review.
Good quality
I have three Browning Medalist. One I purchased while in high school in 1972, the others a few years later for my wife and daughter. I only have two spare magazines so I purchased a few of these and they function perfectly so I bought more. I'm probably the reason they're out of stock currently. I've purchased a total of 20 of these using 10 mags when I go to the range.
They are very close to the original browning but the reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is the loading button and spring are very stiff making loading the 10th round very difficult. But still I'll be buying more. I like to pre-load my mags before I go to the range and as I say, these work perfectly.

Item is no way close t original. It will not lock the slide back on the last shoot. The follower is wrong.
