Simple and Effective

I found this kit to work quite well on multiple fronts. First it is fairly compact and no plastic tubes that will break. Second I don't need multiple items to take to the range or at home- one kit. I travel and this is very convenient for me. Third, it is functional and practical meaning what is included in the kit is not cheap nor odd sizes, it works very well. I have tried a few other brands and lower priced kits and so far this one is my favorite go-to kit. Good luck and I love the no-fuss return policy with Brownells, in case I had gotten a lemon.

I recommended this kit to anyone who is an amateur, occasional, or average shooter, who is looking for a multi-caliber cleaning kit. This kit will serve such a shooter far better than other, cheaper multi-caliber kits. I think the price is fair given the comprehensive selection of tools and convenient carrying case.

Once you use the Otis Cleaning System, your other cleaning kits are going to get dusty....This is the ONLY kit to purchase so you'll be able to clean ALL of your arsenal!! Get the best out there first!! Be sure to order extra Otis Large Patches!!

Great product

Every thing you need to clean all fire arms. That being said, it won't work with a muzzleloader(unless you remove the breech plug)

Fantastic

It has everything you need to clean and maintain all your firearms. I was impressed with the quality of the kit, the actual carry case is VERY nice. I thought that this was worth the price tag and delivers more than other kits in the price range because it provides the punches and brass cleaning tools as well as a variety of the cleaning lengths to service my pistols all the way up to my AR and Shotguns. The added optic cleaning kit was a very nice feature as well as having a portable kit for the field.

Too good to be true?

This kit has everything the typical shooter will need. I really like the Otis products and their breech to muzzle system. When I saw this kit and that it had a #750 kit included, I was amazed that it would sell for such a great price. Well, I was a little disappointed when checking the contents. The #750 kit isn't complete. Yes, all the components are included, however you need to fill the portable case with brushes from the main set before you take off. So, it's not really 2 complete sets as I thought, just one excellent set that is able to easily convert to a portable kit. Don't let that stop you from buying this.. it's still a great deal for all the components, and Otis products work really well. I plan to add a few brushes to the portable pouch so there are always some ready for grab and go trips.

Great, but...

Great little kit. The cables are what makes this kit, and I wish they had these available separately. You get a lot of brushes, in nice storage containers, but they're half the size of normal rifle brushes which means you're making twice as many passes as you would make with your other brushes. Good thing is, my other brushes screw into the cleaning cables no problem. This oversight makes it just an average kit in my book, especially since it costs so much.

POOR VALUE, DON't BUY!!!

I've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars with Brownells the last five years, and this is the first time I've felt ripped off! This is a nice cleaning kit, but not $110 nice, not by a long shot! I added all these items up and priced them out from normal outlets (BassPro, Cabelas, etc.), and HIGH estimates put all these components totaling maybe $70 without the bag(s)/cases. To me this is inexcusable, especially with Brownells namesake on the line. Save your money, A LOT OF IT, and just get what you need individually. From a long time Brownells fan, this flat out POOR for value. All I can say is that Otis is making serious $$$ from ignorance.
