Awesome upper!!
The plastic ejection port cover immediately snapped off. All I did was try and put it together with my lower. Besides that everything looks great. I think I’m going to have to take the upper apart to put the cover port on and I don’t look forward to that
Work but is ugly
Got my 10.4 heavy barrel BRN-4 upper and slapped a used geissele rail on it and its awesome. Shot it suppressed and it runs like a top with minimal gas to the face! Thats says alot coming from a left handed shooter. Cons:Looks like they milled it with their teeth though. Machine marks are incredibly rough. Wouldnt of taken much to smooth them out. Although i couldnt care less what it looks like, i can see how some range princesses would be frustrated.
I wouldnt hesitate to buy one of these again if you care more about function more than looks. I might look into buying a medium profile 16” in the future
Overall pretty nice, though machining marks are present
Overall a nice upper, shoots smooth and reliably with steel case and brass 5.56 ammo. External machining on the upper is a little rough in spots, but isn't too bad. I've cnc contoured machined before, and it appears they are running it faster than it should and leaving chatter marks on it in certain areas. Otherwise the fit and finish on the rest of the parts is excellent. Hoping to see more BRN-4 products!
