works well
very simple idea and design that works - i dumped 380, 9mm, 38 spcl, 223, and 45 - i did purchase the 380 plate from another vendor. I am very pleased at how easy it is to srt the brass - I did clean it first which i do recommend to keep the bins as celans as possible

WHY... did I wait this long to buy these?
First off, while these are not going to be 100% perfect, they are significantly better than sorting by hand. Especially when you’re dealing with buckets full of literally thousands of pieces of brass. I disposed of 2x 5 gallon buckets of brass sorting in 75 minutes. There are some limitations, the middle sorter will catch .38/.357 perfectly, but also traps .40 & 10mm. Large calibers are caught by the top tray, so .44, .45, etc. You may have to sort through the individual trays, but for the most part you can dump 2-4 hand fulls of brass into these, and dump them right into the caliber specific bucket. Huge time saver.

Works Well -- Easy to Use -- Saves Time!
It was easy to figure out how to use and develop a method to quickly sort brass. I pick up spent cases at the range and then sort them at home. I was looking at 5+ gallons of cases to sort by hand. I was able to sort all the cases in part of an evening. I found that I picked up a lot of cases for ammo I don't shoot. The sorters go inside of each other and then inside a 5 gallon bucket. After finishing with the first sorter, I put it upside-down on the table. After the second, I put it upside-down over the first. The same for the third sorter. Just turning the stacked sorters rightside-up means they're ready to go for a second batch. These sorters work best if a medium/small number of cases are put into the sorters. It there are too many cases, the sorter weight and the time to sort is increased. It is easy to find what works best for me. At the bottom of the 5-gal bucket that I sort into, small cases are left: .22s.l.lr, 5.7x28, .32ACP, .25ACP. etc. Some .380ACO cases get through. I also shoot .30 Caliber and they get mixed with the .223 cases but, being straight side case, are easy to pull out by hand. I wish their was a sorter for .380ACP. Like .38 spl and .357 mag, these two case sizes have to be hand sorted. Not a big deal now because I've stopped shooting .357 mag and .380 ACP but I might pick some up at the range without knowing. Good product, does its job, saves time.

Exceeded expectations
I use this to sort pistol brass. My range separates pistol from rifle shooters so I can't comment on it's ability to sort rifle brass. First off, I was impressed by the strength of the plastic. I expected something fairly flimsy, but the construction is quite strong and the plastic is thick. Second, it worked far faster than I expected sorting about 100 brass at a time. It takes about 30 seconds to sort 100 brass of 9, 45, 38 special and 40. The 38's hang from the 40 rack, an added bonus. The only thing that consumes any time for me now in sorting pistol brass is locating any Blazer 45's. Finally, it fits perfectly over a 5 gallon bucket to collect any debris and .22lr brass. I very much recommend.

Well Worth It!!!!
I have a large assortment of brass, multiple calibers (.380, 9mm, 38spl, 357mag, 45acp, 44mag, 223, 308) from various range visits. These work amazingly fast!!! Yellow took care of 45/308, blue took out 38/357, and black held 223/9mm, and .380 as it was supposed too! Now I just need the .380 plate!! The .22lr that slipped into the bags fell right through :) Great price from Brownell's!!! Extremely happy with this product! They are not cheap plastic!

Worth their weight in GOLD
I bought 2 sets of these for sorting range brass. We brought home 2 5 gal buckets on our last shoot, took us 2 hours to sort and we were so delighted in how easy they work. I would also suggest the 380 plates for piece of mind before reloading. Just get them and enjoy.

Must Have For Pick Up Brass
So glad I bought these. Sorted a bunch of 9 and 40 brass. Still a lot of 380 in the 9mm so Im going to buy the 380 plate. Must be used in a couple handfuls at a time to really work and be efficient.
