I've had a "hybrid" punch set for many years, brass & plastic, but the plastic punches didn't hold up. I saw these & couldn't resist!!!!! They are as nice as they look!!!!!

When you want something softer then steel

Every now and then you need a punch that is NOT hardened steel. These are very well mad and come in a nice pouch.

Must Buy!

If you don't have a set of brass punches I'd definitely recommend them they're nice to have to help protect the finish of the firearm you're working on. They're made well good quality good materials and no complaints.

Good quality but delicate

I have the whole set, but have found the 1/16" and 3/32" ones really bend easily, and once it happens just straightening them furthers weakens them. I ordered replacements, and then shortened the old ones to use as starters for tight pins. I think this problem is unavoidable with soft brass punches, though.

Great tools!

Great tool to drive out pins and sights without marring the finish. Holds up well, but extended use on a stuck pin or sight will result in bent or flared tips on the punches. Use the biggest punch you can for the job at hand.

Got what I paid for

I've wanted to buy a good punch set for some time. Most of my friends suggested a brass set to protect the finish of your piece. I am not disappointed at all with this set. You can tell it's American made and I expect it will give me good service.
