The perfect tool I didn’t know I needed.
I got the rolling pin for the bolt catch carrier stuck. The weapon smith that fixed it for me showed me this little guy and recommended I get one. Good thing I did as 2 weeks later I got another one stuck and with this little fellow removing it without damaging the lower is a piece of cake. Worth every penny.

Handy tool to have
This tool is well made and simplifies removing and installing roll pins. It has one side flat so it’s easy to keep in place, and won’t damage the finish on the lower. It doesn’t get used often, but is great to have when needed.

Probably the gold standard for catch pin punch
If you need one of these, just get the Brownells. It's indestructible.

No more scratches
This is an absolute need tool. If you find it difficult or time consuming trying to install the bolt release roll pin on the lower receiver you have to put this in the tool box. No more scratches on the lower receivers no more masking tape. This tool is wrapped in a rubber like coating which makes it impossible to scratch or mar up your lower receiver. Worth the money that is spent on this item.

Pin punch
Works great. No issues removing pins on multiple lowers.
First one lasted 25 years....
I bought a different brand one that Brownells doesnt seem to carry and it broke the second time that I used it. The second one that I have replaced the first under warranty. I think people who break the Brownells ones either had well used ones like my first one or didnt have their bolt catch correctly aligned when trying to install the pin. I recommend whats called "Walt's Tool" to start your pin ideally far enough where you can feel the end of it aligned on your bolt catch and then finish it the rest of the way with this punch
Great tool!
Perfect size for at bolt catch roll pin removal. Quality finish and did not mar receiver.
Very nice and no marring
Fits where it should and no marring when I take the pin out - Worth the money
Excellent Tool
Essential tool not only for disassembly of the bolt catch pin, but also if during assembly you accidentally hammer the pin too far into the space for the bolt catch BEFORE installing the bolt catch, and need to back the pin out of the space.
Must have
This punch is a must have if you need to drive out the bolt catch pin from the front. My only suggestion is to still use a couple of layers of painters tape on the receiver to protect the finish, because there is little to no clearance on some receivers. My only complaint is that it is pricey for just one punch that you may only use a few times.
