Quit crying about the C mark.

Anyone who complains about the finish coming off is a queen and should not be around firearms. If you want it to look pretty get some help.... these things are made to be used! Beat that bolt up!!! If you just want it to look nice and not get any use just buy some Gucci Parts AND STARE AT IT. You dont buy new production colt for a stupid stamp. You buy it for quality reliability and peace of mind! If you want a collectable, go buy a collectable! Lol! This is a shop for gun parts NOT COLLECTABLES . THAT BEING SAID. NOT ONE COMPLAINT ON FUNCTIONALITY HERE. NEVER. AND EVEN IF IT DID FAIL. COLT WOULD HONOR IT. SO BASICALLY THE REVIEW SECTION IS MOOT. BUY COLT BEFORE ITS GONE. THEN YOU HERE ALL THE SOFTIES GET ALL EMOTIONAL BECAUSE THEY PASSED OVER A STUPID STAMP.

Flawless

Fit and functioned fine, as you would expect from Colt.

Not Really Colt

Colt quit making AR-15 now they just contract all the parts out to subcontractors to make then assemble at Colt. The great Colt quality is gone. My Colt M4 made in 2020 I replaced all the the key components trigger and Carrier and bolt assembly with better quality parts.

It's a Colt but the finish isn't durable

I had to rate it as a 3. I bought a colt 10.3 upper and bought a Colt BCG. The fit is good, but after I inserted it and removed from the upper the first time, the finish of the carrier on the ejection port had already worn off. I didn't even cycle it, just insert and remove. This is the very same statement for the case of the other reviewer here that's why I am putting a Colt BCG review here. I purchased it june 2017 and those were the days this carrier is still C-marked!

Good fit poor finish.

I recently purchased this part to have as a spare for my Colt rifle. After coating the carrier with lube, I installed a Colt bolt and firing pin in it. I placed the carrier group in my rifle to check for proper fit, function and headspace. Everything worked good with no fitting required. I removed the carrier and noticed the finish on it at the ejection port side had rubbed off with bare shiny metal showing on the exterior surface. Please note the finish came off without firing the rifle. I would consider returning this carrier for exchange however it looks like I bought the last one in stock made by Colt.

Gas key damaged

Came wrapped in a plastic bag, and the gas key is all dinged up. This is the second Colt bolt carrier/bcg Ive had a problem with a damaged gas key. Ive never had issues with Colt products till these last two bolt carriers. Ill be returning this one for a refund.
