Tipton vise
I’m a professional gunsmith, I’ve got 3 vises in my shop already but I’ve been looking for a swiveling type for some time. I saw the Tipton Best Vise and purchased it. It’s stable, well made, precision vise jaws and 3 different vise surfaces to hold everything. Overall it’s a nice swivel vise and my opinion is well worth what I paid for it.

Works perfectly for light maintenance and cleaning. I am hesitant to put a lot of torque on it for fear that the ball joint may slip but time will tell
Great vise
Let me just say this is a great Vice especially for my needs and the price compared to another Vice almost identical. I do not think I would use it for any kind of heavy torque I have another bench Vice that I use for that I was just looking for a swivel head type Vice to do maintenance on handguns and lowers and overall maintenance with the multidirectional head design allows for about every angle imaginable it really works great

The Tipton vise is excellent quality and reasonably priced. I will enjoy using for cleaning and repair of my guns.
Well built but...
It's a well made vise but you can't put any torque on it with out the vise moving not matter how tight you lock the ball bearing.
