The perfect in-between vice. Not a permanent fixed bench vice, but also not a cheap portable field vice. Just about right for the money. Handy to have for cleaning long guns.

Best of it’s class
It’s a great value. I had gen 1 for 20 years and upgraded. Is it the best on the market? Of course not. Is it the best for the buck? I haven’t found anything close. It’s great for holding rifles and shotguns for cleaning and maintenance. I can even position my revolver in the clamps for bore cleaning.

Great Gun Vise
Over the years I have used a variety of different gun vises and this is by far the best I have come across. Reasonably priced, lightweight, highly adjustable, sturdy and easy to use. I use this vise both at work as well as home. I recently had an issue with one at work and found that repair parts are readily available and reasonably priced (Not a warranty repair) I would recommend this vise highly.
Very nice vise
A very easy system to use and adjust. While it is not heavy, it can be attached to board and the base is one piece so it is a little clumsy to move around from place to place, but is very stable and holds long guns securely. After going thru several other unsatisfying vises, I think this is the keeper.
versatile gun vise
Have used it the very first time to mount a scope. The vise is supported the rifle very well throughout the process, aligment, lapping and levelling the scope. I have yet to use it on cleaning but I expect it will perform well too. Only thing is plastic on the rear end that clamps the rifle stock, when pressure is applied, it flexes a bit but doesn't compromise rigidity.

Holds a rifle very still to work on compared to trying to stabilize the rifle without this vise. Should have bought earlier
Needs better assembly instructions!!
Difficult to assemble. Instructions are useless. It is not not a bad rest but was a pain to assemble. Fortunately I had a neighbor who had one and was familiar with the assembly. They need to provide better instructions!!
Interesting design
This item is simple to assemble, but the screws for the L shaped bar in the middle are too short to easily change position for AR15 work. Its difficult to get the plastic knob on the screw in the aluminum slot after changing positions. Expensive for a mostly plastic item. The round vice parts wobble in their positions, but work fine. It just makes the vice seem flimsy by design.
