Tempered steel body with hardened feed lips is treated with a phosphated anti-friction coating inside and out to ensure drop-free operation and no-jam feeding. Hardened, high tensile music wire spring and supported, self-lubricated nylon follower eliminates follower tilt so every round feeds flawlessly. Flush-fitting, 18-Round magazine features a tough synthetic base pad that removes easily for magazine cleaning. 20-Round model includes a removable, synthetic “Plus 2” base pad. Witness holes in the rear side on both models provide fast, remaining round count.

Mec-Gar mag for Beretta 84

Mec-Gar magazines are among the best available. As I understand it, all "OEM Beretta" magazines are currently produced by Mec-Gar. They work.

combat ready

Holds 18 rounds no problem. Looks good feels good & for all you guys who cant get # 18 in, grow a pair.

Excellent ... but clean them before usin

Another quality magazine from Mec-Gar. I like the extended base pad, as it gives more leverage for my weak hand when gripping the pistol. The base pad removes easily for cleaning - and make sure you do this before using the first time. These are made in Italy - and probably ship all over the world to a variety of environmental conditions. So Mec-Gar gives them a good film of preservative inside and out to protect against rust. That's good - but it's also a dirt magnet if not removed before use.
