The original cannot be outdone
I originally bought an aero from a different site and should have known better. The fit and finish of the Colt is great. The aero would have needed sanding to get it to fit properly, which is a huge pain inconvenience. The colt may be double the price of the aero, but it’s worth it.

If you are in the market for classic A2 hand guards these are the ones you need. They are constantly out of stock for a reason. I was lucky enough to grab a set and they really are perfect. Set it up to notify you when these come in stock because this is gonna be the only way to get them.

Fits triangle endcap
I bought these hand guards to replace the more oval shaped ones that came on a PSA mid-length Dissipator upper I recently purchased. The colt ones are excellent. They are more round with a slight taper towards the muzzle and they also look better in my opinion. I will say, they are much more difficult to get installed then the stock PSA hand guards but they also fit tighter with less squeaking noise. I also want to mention that the Brownells experts told me and a few others who asked questions that these do not fit triangle end caps. I went out on a limb and bought them anyways because I thought they would fit and they do. Hope this helps others with the same question. -Frank B.

I purchased these from Brownells. This is the best classic hand guard on the market. The two halves fit together as they should, unlike cheap copies. They are not to fat for my hands, unlike cheap copies. They do not flex and bend when squeezed, unlike cheap copies. Don't waste your money on the cheap copies if you don't have to. I just wish I could also purchase Colt mid length hand guards.

Like Everyone Else Said
These hand guards are like everyone else said, they are great. As soon as you install them, you can tell the difference from the other offers out there. Nice and solid, no matter how hard you squeeze them, they will not squeak, pop or even move. You could probably drive a car over them with no issues. I think I found my go-to hand guards for ALL future builds.
