Cage Coded Bolt Catch

As of this review date, this Bolt Catch was Schmid "S" marked, as well as Colt "13629" cage coded. Finish and fit are stellar for any AR-15.

Mine came blued - September 2021

Was hesitant to purchase after reading some of the reviews, but mine came blued and perfectly matched my Colt's finish. Thanks Brownells!

Colt quality!

It's Colt, what's not to love. Machining is top notch, finish could use work but this isn't strike industries garbage. Were not building fashion accessories were building tools. And this is the snapon of gun parts.

2019 June, I took a chance and ordered it, turned out it arrived in good condition and looks great, they might fix the problem, hopefully.

I wanted a standard bolt catch, but many I have seen are pretty rough. This colt piece is immaculate, spend the extra $5, it is worth it!

Bare metal unfinished!

Received my bolt catch unfinished and with machining marks , QC definitely BAD Same as other guy from Louisiana Wouldnt recommend.

Not blued. Still raw white metal.

Received this bolt catch and it was still white metal. The description says blued. Customer service sent me a replacement and it was also not blue. The packing slip had a hand written note that said this is as dark as they come from Colt. They where completely silver raw steel. CS never sent me a replacement that was black. Still waiting.
