I like these better than the button head screw type. They do not come loose and do not protrude as much. When installing them make sure that the ends with the slots are both on the same side and lined up properly They have to be 90 degrees to each other. I install the closed end of the plate to the hammer pin first. Ten rotate it down to the trigger pin. While keeping light pressure downward on the plate rotate the trigger pin with a wrench or needle nose pliers until you feel the open end of the plate click into the grooves. I then seat it by tapping on it with a nylon punch to snap it over the pin.

No problem installing, took all of 10 minutes. Haven't had any problems noted by other user. Will give 5 stars unless something changes. Good value for the $

These are an essential part of every build for me. The pins are held tight in place by a spring steel keeper, and there are no screws to come loose or that require thread locker. They can be installed lickity-split and dont require tiny little machine screws or allen wrenches that are hard to keep track of. It takes a little finesse to get the keeper in place, but once they are in, you never have to worry about them again! These will keep your most coveted lowers running for generations to come!

Great design, simple to install, and well made. I now have these on every ar platorm i own as well bought several more for future guns. Iv used another style but prefer the ease of this design and its strength. I use them even in my drop in triggers as a back up even with the tension screws built into the drop ins.

Excellent pin set, you just have to pay attention to detail. The pins lock into the slots on the retainer bar via 2 small grooves on the end of the pin. If these are lined up properly you will have no problems getting them to snap in. I used a small set of pliers and pinched the bar and pin together gently and rotated the pin until I could see and feel the bar drop into the grooves, then I applied more pressure and snap!

I built a run of the mill lower for an AR pistol years back (CMMG lower) and for the first time in my life, I experienced the pain of walking pins. At first I just covered both sides of the trigger and hammer pins with duct tape, planning on replacing them the next time I placed an order, months became years, etc. Anyhow, I saw this item and after reading reviews and comparing it to other options, ordered a set. Very easy to install, just take your time, align the pins and use a brass punch and small brass hammer so as to not leave permanent marks (or a hard plastic one too), and these pins can be driven in as the old ones are pushed out. Really pretty straight forward. They add no bulk to the area, and look nice enough. Solved the problem of pin walk out totally. A++ all around.

so i got 3 sets of these pins to replace my all of elftmann anti-walk pins after i kept snapping locking plates trying to install them on my FM9 (too loose without the rubber pad, too tight with it). and these pins have been awesome, no movement at all. i have no doubt these are going to stay rock solid. so i saw that another reviewer stated that they scratched his receiver, but i polished the side of my locking plates that touch the receiver (im OCD). once the pins themselves were installed, i used a tiny pair of jewelers bent pliers to turn the pins (one side is hex machined, 4.5mm if you have the socket). so i carefully turned the pins to line up the grooves to fit the locking plate on, and tapped it to lock with a nylon punch.

I bought this after installing a drop-in trigger and my pins were loose because they no longer had any spring tension to hold them in. The pins installed easily and the clip holds them in securely. I used a pair of pliers to get the clip snapped over the second pin.

Just got these today around 11:00am. Shipping was fast and Brownells service unparalleled. These were nearly the cheapest anti walk\anti roll pins. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. But I hate wasting money too. I read a lot of reviews here and elsewhere. These seemed alright. So it's 7:00pm now. Spent all day sourcing some washers because the length of these pins allows for more play than I care for. Best I found were steel at least. I drilled em for the size of the pins 0.155 ID and test fit. Washers were still way too thick so I made a tool to grind em thinner. Turns out 0.020 was just right. Test fit again and realize the hammer pin washer needs a lil shaved off for clearance by the mag release. Got all set and put everything back together. Nothing binds or is loose. The clip seems very secure. So I went ahead and took everything apart. And I cold blued the washers so they match everything. You be the judge when you look at the pics.The advice of other reviewers came in handy. Take a second and make sure the slots are lined up before you try to snap the clip into place. I used the bottom edge of a plastic right side grip from a Charles Daly 1911 and a pair of needle nose pliers as a hammer to tap the clip and snap it home. I haven't been out to shoot yet. But I don't foresee any issues. This is a good product. But the washers I made, make it better. I'm a stickler that way. I'd buy em again for another budget build. These pins ain't gonna walk or roll. That's why I got em.

Very easy to install and works great. Do wish they fit a bit tighter, but all in all they are very good pins. Will use them again if needed.
