Good Quality, but be Aware...
This muzzle device is of good quality and finish, it exceed my expectations in that regard. But be aware, it is not pre-drilled for a pin/weld, so the gunsmith will have to do some extra work. Also, the flash hiding slots are a full 360 degrees, and not closed at the bottom. May or may not matter for your application, but be aware.

Good and bad...
I bought this for a clone and was impressed with the dimensional accuracy as well as the cost. That being said, I am less than pleased with the finish. The "black oxide" is a very very high gloss finish almost like a bright bluing. Considering this is marketed for retro ARs, it really is a huge oversight as it should be parkerized, or at the very least, a matte bluing. Mine also has apparent tooling marks that are visible because of the reflective finish.

Well machined and dimensioned...BUT...
The dimensions and machine work on the flash hider are outstanding. It appears to be very close to authentic period XM-177 type hiders. BUT... it's finished in a shiny, polished type of finish, which doesn't fit with most of the "retro-type" guns it will go on. Phosphating or "Parkerizing" would have been better. Nothing a little "Dark Parkerized" Alumahyde won't fix, but would have been nice to be finished correctly out of the box.
