Oversized, drop-in replacement for factory triggerguard provides plenty of extra room to get your finger on the trigger quickly, even when you’re wearing gloves. Comfortable, compound-curve shape helps prevent finger from being pinched between trigger pad and guard, while gently radiused edges protect finger from cuts or abrasions. Rugged, machined aluminum construction handles the abuse of intensive tactical operations. Installs easily using the original triggerguard’s plunger, spring and roll pins; compatible with factory and aftermarket pistol grips.

SPECS: 7075 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Fits AR-15/M16 rifles with mil-spec lower receivers. Uses existing plunger, spring and roll pins.

The trigger guard is made of the usual aluminum but the bottom line here is that after a lot of work your gun just looks dumb. Go with the Magpul. Its on three other of my guns and looks better. I thought I would try this one since I was ordering anyway but wasted my time and money.
