Great upgrade.
As a left handed shooter, this is just what I needed. It'll also work great for right handed shooters under stress. Gonna buy an few so I can upgrade any future purchases immediately. Highly recommended.
Awesome addition
I installed this on my RRA AR-15. It was very simlple to do and took about 5 minutes to do. I like the versatility of the paddle. You can install it in the traditional up position. Or you can install it facing forward or backward. The installation facing backward is great for lefties because you can close the action without taking your hand off the fire control, and without even sacrificing your grip. I have not found the "wobble" with the paddle that others have noticed. To be safe, I added a drop of blue loctite to ensure it'll stay that way. A fantastic addition that is made very well.
Perfection from Wilson Combat
I installed this bolt release horizontally toward the rear. As a left-handed shooter, I can now easily release my bolt with my trigger finger while maintaining a good grip. This is a solid, high-quality item that I wish I had discovered years ago. This is a must for lefties for sure who want to keep up with speed reloading drills like Magpul.
Fits my left-handed Stag
When I received this part, I was a little concerned that it would be too big to fit my left-handed Stag Arms 2T-L. I thought it might get in the way of the dust cover. To my surprise it didn't, it fits perfect. Now, my left index finger can reach the bolt release with ease, no more straining to close the bolt. I used blue Loc-tite on the set screw.
Pricey but great
I have two of these, one on my service rifle, one on my competition rifle. I was able to rig this so it automatically reloads my gun when I use a coupled mag, makes my reloads that much quicker. Without coupled mags it still makes reloading quick- it doesn't have a pad sticking out to hold the bolt open like the DPMS design, so it's a little bit more ergonomic. It's more expensive than the DPMS, but I think it makes up for it.
easy to hit
As a lefty I slap the new mag and slide my hand up to hit the button. A big button makes it just that much easier. If you have the need or wish to reload faster this is the product for you. You can mount it up or sideways, which is great for me. Just be sure to lock-tite the set screw. Easy to install with a punch and fit is good.
