SUPER TRICON 2-STAGE TRIGGER FOR AR-15 Reviews & Ratings

Designed in cooperation with Jeff Gonzales former Navy SEAL of Trident Concepts, the Super Tricon Trigger comes standard with a two-stage design for safety and control; a carrot-like 2nd stage break; full-power hammer spring; tool steel construction; and unique trigger bow design with ribbed surface.

Gives your AR-15 the same high performance and reliability of the SSA trigger with additional upgrades designed for operation in harsh environments. Trigger shoe is curved at the top and then becomes straight, and has pronounced surface texture with raised ribs for positive, non-slip finger contact in wet, muddy, or snowy conditions. Features a 4½ lb. total pull weight with a 2½ lb. first stage, plus a full-power hammer spring to ensure positive ignition. Stainless steel springs withstand rough use and resist corrosion in wet environments. Non-adjustable sear engagement.

May be installed on AR-style .308 rifles that accept AR-15 triggers.

Hammer pin is not retained

I installed this on a SIG 516 and it worked well but you must hold the gun firmly to prevent accidental bump fires. I later moved it into an LWRC REPR and found the trigger pin walks a lot. I had not really noticed but, there is no wore spring inside the hammer to snap into the center notch of the hammer pin. So on the 516 it was not an issue but on the LWRC it walked completely out of the receiver on one side allowing the hammer to pivot slightly resulting in inconsistent sear engagement and doubles and triples. Really "cool" problem esp. in an indoor range in 762x51

Received my replacement

I was sent the same defective trigger a second time with a note stating "as good as we have" see the picture below if this is as good as these triggers get I have serious questions about Geissele's Quality control this is supposed to be high quality thus justifying the cost. I am sending the trigger back a second time and this time I'm getting a refund.
