AR-15/M16 SLING ADAPTER END PLATE Reviews & Ratings

Machined steel replacement for the factory receiver plate gives an AR fitted with an M4-type collapsible buttstock a convenient, low-profile attachment point for clip-on, single-point slings. Precision machined from 1018 carbon steel for superior strength and an exact fit, with a durable manganese phosphate Parkerized finish that resists surface abrasion and corrosion, and matches the finish on mil-spec anodized receivers. Available in single-loop Right-Hand (RH) as well as a convenient, versatile Ambidextrous configuration that lets you swap the sling from one side of the receiver to the other. An adapter that is designated as a right hand (RH) adapter is for right handed shooters and will be mounted on the left side of the gun.

Good quality, no filing, slide on the tube tighten it up and boom its solid. I will be buying more for my future builds!

Functional at a good price

I purchased this item for a carbine rifle build. The item is constructed well and fits nicely. It came packed with no instructions on how to install, which for me was not a problem, but someone who does not know what they are doing it might pose an issue. I am a certified AR-15 / M-16 Armorer and I am the police department armorer I use a single point sling on my rifle and this item will be utilized and works well for my law enforcement job.

Worth every penny

Own 6 AR15s now, and have customized literally HUNDREDS of them for friends. ANY of them with colapsable stocks get this modification. for a few bucks, why NOT, add to it a inexpensive single point sling and your ready to go, wether its hunting, competative shooting, or just for the comfort of carry. Im sold on them !!

Good product

Recently purchased 50 of these to outfit department's new Patrol Rifles. With the exception of two, they fit the mil-spec diameter buffer tubes. The remaining two only required minor adjustment of the indexing stud with a file. They do their job at an excellent price.

Almost fit

Out of the envelope, the plate would not go over the buffer tube... a little bit of grinding with my Dremel on the tab resolved the problem. I've run into this issue with various plates from various vendors, so I don't think its an uncommon problem.

Ambidextrous Sling Adapter Plate

Good value, easy to install, serves its' purpose.

Works as intended

It works, what more can I say. Gave it a 4 because it is over priced. They stamp thes out by the thousands.

Solid

Purchased two Right hand sets to complete Aero Precision lowers. They are thicker than standard receiver plates and seem like a nice addition for a single point sling set up. The lower sections and loop are a bit too "squared" and don't fully compliment its attachment to lower receiver.Just a small disappointment to an otherwise solid product at a great price.
