Ambidextrous, all steel endplate provides secure, balanced single-point sling attachment, so your collapsible-stock rifle or carbine can be carried tangle-free in the ready position at all times. Special indexing washer with screw interfaces with the rear of the receiver to allow easy installation for right- or left-hand use. SASE-1 features a single slot that accepts conventional 1¼" wide webbing. SASE-2 has loop to accept HK-style hook or carabineer clips. The SASE-2E is an enhanced version of the SASE-2 featuring a larger loop to accommodate larger HK-style hooks

AR-15 HK style endplate

Replaced the end plate on the AR with no problems. It is for either left or right handed. The washer and screw fit perfect, so you do not have to worry about it moving at all. Love the complete circle, for the hook works well with it on the 1 point sling. The sling will not slide up and down causing blockage of the charging handle like other universal end/sling adapters, which have the slot and the circle.

Great Product, Great Price!

If you can go without having a quick release solution on the rear point for your sling, it's tough to beat the price to performance of this endplate. When my sling is mounted on this, it does not interfear with the forward assist, and the angle is perfect for a high sling carry. so long as you have your front sling point as a quick release so you can get out quick if you get tangled, then this is a good solution.

Sling

Great value. Easy to install. Works as described. The only thing I find wrong with it is if you work the charging handle with your left hand, you may catch your finger tip or nail on it. Using the right hand, there is no problem. In the heat of combat or competition, a person could get a boo boo. Other than that, it is great.

Quality

This is another quality item from Vltor. It can be installed for a right or left handed shooter. And it doesn't matter which way it's mounted, Vltor has etched it's name on both sides. I thought that was a neat touch. And of course gives Vltor advertisment. Works well with my Blackhawk single point Storm sling. Very solid and great finish to this part.

Nice quality part

Fit and finish are great. Edges on sling loop are smoothed so as not to wear the webbing of your sling.

almost really awesome

Installation was a breeze. Being ambidextrous is a plus. I think this is the best looking attachment point, clean and simple. My only down-side is that my Blackhawk Storm sling hook dings and gouges the loop of the attachment point. Not a deal breaker but still kinda weird.

Excellent deal

Appears to be sturdy and well made. This is one of the few retailers that actually list what its made of. Fit well on my bushmaster lower but it loses one star for having the grayish phosphate finish, it really stands out from the average color of an AR, but looks aren't everything! Highly reccomended!
