Made with thicker metal than a stock mil-spec part, and the fact that I can now attach my sling before the butt-stock makes having a sling on more comfortable.
Best QD end plate
I've tried a few different QD plates and BCM makes the best one, and at a fair price.
Quality part
Unlike cheaper options, not made out of pot metal, which you can really tell if you stake your castle nut. Seems to be a bit thicker than your standard backplate. Ran one for years on an AR pistol with no issues. Wouldnt buy any other part after seeing the hardness of the metal. A sling attachment point needs to be strong and take some abuse. I wouldnt recommend for a two point sling. More designed for a one point sling.
It's BCM, what more can be said.
This is typical BCM, doing it right and keeping it simple. This has been my go to for the last several builds. These things are thicker, maybe even double than a mil-spec part, they don't bend or distort when installed. Last but not least, if you plan to use the QD feature, know its made from steel and will last unlike aluminum.
Solid Kit
Solid kit. I run this on all of my ARs. QD has solid hook up. Replaces standard back plate seamlessly. BCM. That's it.

Great cost effective product
It's an endplate so it's not complicated to install. It's close to the castle nut so it prevent it from twisting your sling without complicated design which makes cost low for us. I prefer this qd mount verses mounting my sling to my stock 's qd mount because it keeps my sling away from my cheek weld more.
