You know how easy them there little springs can escape into the great unknown never to be seen again on this side of life, so I try to keep several unopened packets of their springy a$$ed little kinfolk around just in case one runs away never to be seen again…I needed an unopened new pack to add to my emergency parts stash and this one fit my needs and wants. Brownell’s carries good stuff so I ordered one of the spring packs and it fits my needs to a tee at a fair price.

Seems kind of hard to mess up a lower spring kit. This kit has all the appropriate parts, and it installs like its designed to do.
The only backup sights I use
The all metal MBUS backup sights sre the only backup sights I I find acceptable. They are expensive because good quality means you have to pay. Buy once and only cry once!

Great value. USA made. The only con is the apparent common problem of the detent spring being too long when changing stocks. It requires modification by shortening to ease installation.
Bought CMMG lower parts for AR builds.
I am using this kit for spare parts only. I have bought a couple CMMG lower parts kits, and they have worked fine.
Just the parts you need
Since I've pieced together my new lower with various parts, I didn't need a full LPK. This had everything to fill the gaps. Everything fit well and worked nicely. If you read the contents of this kit, you won't be disappointed, and yes, there is no mag catch spring.
Better than the average parts kits
Now that Bushmaster and DPMS are sharing parts and tooling and some of their parts like their AR-10 bolt release pin or screw are made probably from imported pewter I can't buy from them anymore, The great Remington/Freedom Group co-op ruined Bushmaster and are on their way to messing up DPMS bad... quality is suffering over the old days. CMMG makes their parts in house according to two different guys that work the floor their. When I couldn't get a replacement bolt catch screw that broke on my Bushmaster AR-10 from either Bushmaster or DPMS, I called CMMG for help and the guy on the phone didn't trash the other companies but agreed with me that some parts quality seemed to be suffering. He mailed me three bolt catch screws... for free, and only asked that I consider doing business with them in the future. You don't get that every day with many companies,
