This is the stronger one.
There are some thinner steel versions of this available but this is the stronger option. You can always replace the rubber fuel lines down the road if they get worn or old.

OUTSTANDING! The best available!
These days things rarely exceed or even meet expectations. Not this tool. It is an OUTSTANDING handguard removal tool. I’m getting older and arthritis makes it a little tougher to do some things. This tool is well made and grips the slip ring/delta ring on any AR perfectly. Works on A1 or A2 style rings with little effort. I’m very pleased with it and can recommend it to anyone. All the contact points are coated and the gripping section is covered with heater hose that won’t Mar your finish or peel away after one use. It’s TOUGH. A simple design that just WORKS. Get one. It will make life easier. A five star product.

Handguard Tool
Heavy duty and works. I've broken other brands that look good but break after working on a few rifles.

Just what I needed
I am a new AR15 owner and have just started tinkering with it to accessorize it to my needs and wants and I quickly found that trying to remove or install the handguards or anything adjacent to the handguards that requires or is made easier by removing the handguards is made so much easier and safer with a tool like this. Very simple to operate and it just works as designed. I cannot help but imagine other designs in my head but this is what is on the market right now so I highly recommend it.

Wonderful
Wonderful hand guard removal tool. No problem depressing the delta ring completely and without scratching. The arms are covered with evap/gas line that aids in gripping, eliminates scratching-marring, and stays permanently on, unlike the rubber coated cheaper made removal tools. Made with strong steel that's not going to bend when used. This is the last removal tool you'll ever buy and worth every penny.

I've never had it so good!
I've been struggling with AR delta rings for years. No longer! This is that "third hand" that's needed to remove AR hand guards easily, safely, without injury, or without damaging the hand guards. This tool is very easy to use and is extremely robust in it's construction. Every AR owner should own this tool!

Absolutely Awesome Tool
I just removed some handguards on a rifle with this tool. This thing works great! I had to have some help from a friend when I put these handguards on the first time. I can't believe how easy this tool made it to take them off. I put the barrel in a block in my bench vise to hold the rifle and then one hand on the tool and pulled the handguard halves away with my other hand. Couldn't have been nicer. Almost forgot to mention to top it off this was on a flat slip ring. Not one of the triangular Delta rings.

Great AR tool if there ever was one!
I've been an armorer for a lot of years and removed handguards the old way since I served in the military. I wish I had this tool 30 years ago. Holds up to daily use and doesn't scratch at all. Buy it.

Hard to get better than this tool for th
It does cost a bit more - but the tool is easy to work with. It will require that the lower receiver be attached. It makes taking off the hadguards a snap.
