Good Tool, Sharp Points
I like the heavy solid design of this tool, but the screws are too sharp. I had to grind down the screw tips since the point was splitting the metal on the gas key. After grinding the tip flatter, round, and polish a bit the staking is more professional and cleaner. This may be the one improvement I feel that needs to be made for a better tool and more confident results.

Adjusted to suit
Spot-milled .025 for mouth of key, (APF on "unknown) NIB. Adjusted the points slightly, as others previously noted. YMMV, Otherwise, fine!
J.I.C., out.

Well, it's OK!
My suggestions: 1. Make the staking screws out of S7 tool steel. 2. Slightly round off the tip of the screws, they are just to sharp. I think they have a good thing going here, however, it can be improved!
Great jig, but
This jig works great, but it requires you to make an important modification to the staking screws first. As other customers have pointed out, the staking screws are too sharp, and will cut through metal rather than displace it. You have to grind down the tips of the screws, then smooth and reshape them so they are blunt and rounded. If you do that successfully, you will get very professional looking staking on your gas key.
Carrier Key Staking Tool by BROWNELLS
I like this staking tool ,but the screws needed some reshaping to work the way you need them too. This jig is nicely made. Lifetime tool. Thanks.
Considerations
Im willing to bet a lot of these reviewers breaking the tips on the 1st try are staking nitrided carriers, not inspecting the threads in the bore or not lubing the threads. The front bolt can also be easily over-tightened. Its just there to remove slop. I dont like the YFS fasteners but whatever, make your own. Its less than half the price of the new MOACKS tool and its backed by Brownells warranty.
Useful Tool
I found the tool easy to use, straight forward. No issues. Before use I removed and oiled the screws ran them in and out several times and had no Issues as describe in other reviews. A drop of oil on each point before each use. Does or can make a bit of a burr this is easy to remove..
