Best bang for the buck
RH or LH bolts works perfectly. Even better the design provides a notch for the bolt body's tail end rest for a more stable disassembly/assembly operation. Highly recommended.
Precision tool worth the money.
This was my first time removing the ejector on my bolt, and this tool made the job easy. I did have to clean out the threads in the block to get the bolt turning smoothly. No taps or dies, just the small end of a GI cleaning brush and some soap suds to clean out some anodizing flakes or something. Turns smoothly now with no binding. There is a channel in the tool that the bolt lug engages with to keep the bolt from spinning, and two holes to allow the pin to fall through no matter which way the bolt is oriented. I enjoy well made tools, and this is one.

Absolutely perfect tool. The one I got direct from Young is model YM-039. It is precisely made and makes removing and installing the ejector simple and easy. I would make sure to use a roll pin punch and for installation there are started punches that will make installation easy too.
Spend a bit more for this
Don't ask me what that other area is for (mine has the logo on it) but this is nice tool as the screw action is smooth, has recesses to you can put it in a vice, through holes for the pin to fall through (although mine stuck to the side of the hole since the bolt was brand new, never fired and still oily) and makes removing the ejector easy for a novice like me. The bolt lugs fit in recesses and keeps everything compressed. The hardest part for me was driving the pin out then back in; use a slave pin to check the clearance of the cutout in the ejector so the ejector pin goes in the right place. This is one of those tools that is probably over engineered and has a singular function but I'm at the point of my life where I don't want to buy cheap janky stuff and believe in "buy once, cry once". A bit of grease makes the screw feel like BUTTER.

Used it for taking the bolt apart for checking headspace on AR-15. Sure speeds up the job and makes life easier! Well thought out design!
YOUNG MFG vs BROWNELLS Bolt Ejector Tool
I have been using the BROWNELLS Bolt Ejector Tool for years and it works as advertised on both 223/5.56 and 308/7.62 size bolts. The BROWNELLS tool is a little ungainly to use as it can't be held in a vise and the bolt has to be held in place by hand while removing and reinserting the roll pin. The YOUNG MFG tool is easier to use as it can be held in a vise and a small clamp can be used to hold the bolt in place. Both ejector pushers work well.
Works as expected
Worked as expected. It does have some wiggle room and you might notice the tool hit the bolt face by the lugs, but just add a small amount of pressure to the side to realign and it will work perfectly. Makes taking the pin out so much easier.
