I really was not sure about this item upon reading the reviews. It seemed like it would be okay at best.
I am not sure what is different about the rifles of those that said it needed adjustments to fit from mine; however, it seemed to work perfectly for me. I will admit, it takes some pressure to hold upper and lower together to set your rear takedown pin. But that seems necessary to accomplish what it is meant to do, tighten the connection between the upper/lower for more accuracy and less wobble between them. It does that completely.
If you have any slop in your rifle, then buy this and make it go away.

This little component helped a ton
It’s pretty amazing what one 14 dollar part can do for accuracy in a gas gun. No matter what kind of match barrel I put in my ARs I couldn’t get anything better than about 1.5-2MOA groups. When I found out about these I tried them and instantly saw an improvement. Now I don’t build a gas gun without them. Unless you have a matched set of receivers (and sometimes even if you do) you should get these to take the play out of your AR. They work great.

I have 2 AR ones a pistol 10.5 and the other a 16in. On the 10.5 dropped right in and sturdy up the receiver to lower no more wobble and on the 16 I had to trim quite a bit off the bottom portion of wedge that being said it also took away all the wobble and shots fantastic much better now thanks highly recommended

This item works much better than the first one I bought. The price is 10 times as much, but it works! This one was simple to use. I bought three of them and all three of them work like a dream. I think I will include these in all my future builds.

It took the wibble out of my wobble
I just bought a new AR15 and the upper to lower fit was not satisfactory. However because it did not pose a safety problem I looked to Brownell's for the fix and found it when a friend recommended the AccuWedge. I installed it and found it needed a bit of trimming to allow the halves to fit. Dremel to the rescue. 1 minute's work and the wedge fit perfectly. No more wobble and loose fit. Thanks Brownell's.

My Colt SBR lower had a lot of slop in it. To much..... I purchased one of these, trimmed it to fit and not it doesn't rattle anymore. P.S. Slop between lower and upper has nothing to do with accuracy. Only shooter confidence. For me it was annoying to have that much slop. I WAS annoying.
