A simple and elegant solution. I had to trim a bit so the upper could be secured on this gun, but once there it did what was needed.

Wedge works

I installed it on my colt and it tightened it up just like when it was new.

Lots of trimming for Rock River lower

So this will require a lot of trimming in order to fit a RR lower. I shaved the bottom plug by 75% of its original height, I also had to chop the lip a little as well. Now that's not too big a deal because the play between my Yankee Hill upper and the lower is 99% gone, 100% no rattle. Just be sure to use a nice, small box cutter.. I used my Cold Steel XL Espada.. that was tricky.

Good product at a good price

I custom built my AR with a DS lower and generic upper I bought at a gun show, there was some standard play in between each so I tried out this product. It is easy to install, and solved the problem. I can see how some reciever combos might not work with this wedge, but all you need to do is razor blade some slack off, welcome to the world of gunsmithing.
