Better than Nothing
I cannot complain on this and mean what the title says literally.
If you frame doesn't have the option to use the 'Green Tipped' adjustment to take the 'wiggle out of the jiggle' Then this item is a gem for it.
I have this in my Shorty 300AAC. Works almost as well as having the imbedded adjustment screw.
DOUGLAS, GUNS ARE NOT TOYS, BAD CHOICE OF WORDS
Douglas: TAKE NOTE THAT AN AR OR ANY GUN IS NOT A TOY. THAT’S WHY YOU GOT A THUMS DOWN. GUNS ARE TOOLS DESIGNED TO HUNT WITH, OR KILL TANGOES, SELF DEFENSE, WHEN YOUR ON ACTIVE DUTY.
Tightens right up
This is a super simple product but does an amazing job at making the upper and lower much tighter fit. Cheap and worth every penny!
Wedge
Works great just install. No adjustments needed and easy to install.
Accu-wedge
Works perfectly.
Maybe not that necessary, but...
These things are called Accu-Wedges, but the jury's out on whether they make an AR more accurate. They simply take out the upper/lower slop. I figure that if the gun is rattling around while you shoot it, it could act like a revolver that has excess play in the cylinder. All the extra vibration and movement might cause the gun to beat itself up quite a bit faster. Just a theory. Either way, at the very least, an Accu-Wedge won't hurt anything.
Worth the money
Takes the majority of the slack out between the upper and lower on my AR’s.
