AR-15/M16 ACCU-WEDGE

AR-15/M16 ACCU-WEDGE Reviews & Ratings

AR-15/M16 ACCU-WEDGE

One of the fastest, easiest, cheapest accuracy-improvements you’ll ever find for your AR! Tough, high-density synthetic rubber wedge drops into the space behind the takedown pin in the lower receiver to provide tension between the receiver halves and prevent movement for improved accuracy. Takes the “loose gun” factor out of the equation, so you shoot tight, consistent groups. Can be trimmed to accommodate any variation in upper-to-lower receiver fit.

SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Material: Synthetic Rubber
  • Length: 3/4"
  • Diameter: 1/2"

ineffective
Didn't help at all on Colt or S&W. Still lots of side to side movement and won't fit S&W at all. Trimmed to fit, but still no help. Slop is side to side as well as up and down. Needs redesign.

Will not work with BRN-180 upper
Would not fit with a BRN-180 upper and S&W MP15 lower. Even after trimming it down to "fit" it properly the upper and lower would not close enough to push the take-down pin through. It was a waste of $8 because once you try to "fit" it you can't return it any more either.

Poor
Didn't fit good at all in my Saint AR pistol. Absolutely awful.

not for stag
does not fit on a stag lower and upper installed went to pin back together and the two would not compress to allow rear take down pin to slide through .would probly work good on other upper and lowers but there is not enough space between the bottom of the upper and lower to allow assymbly

Don't bother.
A really neat and logical idea but honestly once I got done "fitting" this to my RRA, I realized I could have gotten the same result out of a piece of foam tape. Just way too big for most setups.

WASTE OF MONEY!
Bought this product cause heard alot of gossip about i own a colt m4 thought it was gonna be a breeze just drop in but it did not fit at all like everybodys elses i had to cut alot of it off the top to get it to fit wasted my money

Does not work in AR-10
Bought one of these for my Armalite AR-10. I had to entirely grind off the rubber base before the take down pin would push through. Waste of $ for my rifle. Product should site make and model of weapons for which it is useful.

Not worth it. junk
I purchased this item thinking it would be better than my o-ring fix. I have a rra sbr that has alittle movement in the upper. so I took this out of the package and placed in the lower. No go, I figured I would have to trim it as most do. So I began trimming, then test fit, then trimming, then test fit. By the time I was done I had a little piece of rubber that did make the top alittle tighter but did not fix it totaly like my 5 cent oring in the front fix. Dont botter buying any of these. Do the oring fix or fork up the [$] for the tention pins.
