POORLY MADE
First this kit is NOT made by Brownells, instead made by LUTH-AR... when I first opened the package I noticed it looked nothing like the descriptive picture that was advertised and it was also missing some of the pieces. It came with a shorter screw than advertised and the tube was very poorly machined, it appeared to be made as quickly as possible with little regard to quality. But at the time that was the least of my worries. When I installed it to my Colt A2 Restricted Carbine I had function checked the rifle with everything installed properly and the poor machining on both the tube and spring resulted in very noisy function and the spring made a very loud noise within the tube when compressed, additionally it rattles within the tube when lightly shaken. All in all Im very disappointed as I have had good experiences with Brownells products in the past but looking back I should have gone with factory parts to begin with.
