Great barrels, no GB, reamed or dimpled
Great stripped barrels only, no gas block, nor is it reamed for a pinned gas block or dimpled so you must be able to do all the machining yourself lest you be stuck with a barrel that cannot be used or you must spend more money taking it to someone that can do that work for you. This is not Brownells fault by any means, just do not make the mistake that I did and pay attention to what you are buying. I was in such a fervor to get some of these barrels that I did not pay close enough attention to the description (my fault)

DD CHF barrels are the best.
i use these DD CHF barrels for all my builds and never had any issues with them. they headspace perfectly with any quality bolt carrier i use and function flawlessly with any ammo i put through them. the accuracy is also great on these barrels and fit tightly in any upper i put them on. i would recommend these to anyone who wants to build a great AR.
What you should expect!!
I use it for an all-around go-to setup. Its cold hammer forged, its chrome lined, its accurate, and its reliable! Its exactly what you'd expect from a Daniel Defense barrel. Highly recommend!
URGI Clone Build
I decided to build myself the URGI clone around the DD 14.5" Govt mid-length barrel. This build will be used for home defense.
Amazing barrel
I have many barrels from many manufacturers. This is by far the best I own. Cold hammer forged, chrome lined goodness. I have an 18" 556 DD and 16" 300 BO DD and they do not 'walk' when heating up. Many barrels will see the POI walk in a direction as the barrel heats/distorts. I have a 20" they is very pronounced at 300 yards. My only complaint is DD doesn't make a 20" :( Great barrel, buy it you won't regret it!
Amazing
I was shocked by the accuracy with M193. I was putting 20 rounds in a 1/2 hole at 50 yards. Havent tried match ammo yet. Paired it with a new Daniel Defence BCG. Bore scope shows it to be a high quality barrel. Really happy with and it also cleans up super easy. You cant go wrong with this barrel.
Excellent Piece of Equipment
Got this barrel on sale for a lightweight build a few years ago, FINALLY got it together and put in a good bit of range-time on it. This thing is amazing!! Super light, plenty accurate (easy 2" groups at 100 yards from a non-marksman with a little x4 scope). Again, got it a couple of years ago (for $160) I don't think you can get a better barrel for that price.
AR Pistol Build
Accurate and very good quality, Shoot 90 rounds for break in and no problem at all. I am so happy with this barrel.
Don't let size stop you
I've shoot 5000 rounds at least it shot 1 moa at 100 and it still shoots the same this barrel is cold forged chrome lined its a little load I believe because its so hard and it has a ring to it like a bell this the best barrel I've ever purchased. I'm debating right know to buy another for replacement if or when I shoot this barrel out. I've shot 10+ deer with it suppressed and unsuppressed.
