Perfect Fit, Looks Great
I have this installed on my RPR. Fit easily using the supplied screw. My first impression is that it looked great, like it was meant to be with the RPR. The way it felt was perfect, the stock grip was too skinny for my hands. I havent shot with it yet but Im looking forward to it.
Couldn't be more pleased!
Should have done this long ago! Installed on my "coyote gun", couldn't be more pleased. Intend to install on another rifle as well.
Excellent Pistol Grip
The Pistol Grip is used, by some successful competitive shooters for grip consistency and positive trigger control. With this grip, the rifle is seated, identically, every time and with practice, it should help to produce excellent groupings at long range.
Handles Very Well
On first install on a new receiver set, it fits very snug. Fits on any AR type of mounting pistol grip connection. Installs like you would any AR grip with the center screw with a lock washer. The rubberized textured surface gives you a very good grip on your weapon with or without gloves. Palm shelf is adjustable in tilt but it's factory tightness is perfect unless you want it tighter. Very durable and worth the money. Best for precision shooting, long-distance shooting, or hunting.
Great grip in my opinion
If you have big hands like I do, you will love this. Smaller hands may struggle. Solid material. You do not want the palm shelf super tight. You do not want it sloppy loose. You want it to be moveable and angle if your hand size/shape requires it. Making the shelf conform to you versus you conforming to it will make for more accurate/comfortable shooting. I left mine at the factory tightness and it is perfect.
Best sniper/competition type grip
Have tried many style and sizes of this type of grips over the years. Heckler & Koch made the best classic wooden palm shelf type grip which they incorporated in their famous HK93 sniper model. Ergo on the other hand, created what I consider the best modern tactical sniper/competition type grip for AR rifles. The suregrip model is handfilling featuring palm swell on both sides and non slip rubberized textured surface. The palm support stays put where you set it. The grip is best suited for medium and large hand. Its a little bit pricey than other comparable type grip out there, but you definitely get what you paid for.
Not good for scar 16s.
I bought this grip for myself. I love the grip. 100% increase in grip comfort compared to the m16a2 standard grip. I needed a longer than normal screw driver to install this. Unfortunately I can not use my SCAR's ar15 round hex screw to install this. The scar grip (m16a2) has 1 hole perfectly for that ar-15 hex screw. This grip does not have just a hole but an elongated oval where you can fit about three ar15 grip hex screws in. It was loose so I tightened it. Dry fired with it, came loose again, tightened it. Eventually I did this enough where the screw went through it. I hate it, the grip came right off with the screw fully tightened. I would need a wider screw, but I want to return this.
