Fantastic
A compact stock that actually works with body armor.
Awesome, Definitely Ultra Compact.
This stock is great, solid build, great quality, although it's not as tight as I wish it could be, slightly loose, like most, nothing that would impede the use or functionality of it. It does a great job of reducing the length of a rifle (collapsed) by a full inch. It has a proprietary spring and buffer, my buffer weight in at 3.2oz, I was able to bring it up to 3.8oz by using quality tungsten weights. If you're running factory ammo or unsuppressed don't bother wasting money on a heavier buffer, this will do just fine. I would definitely recommend it for those of you in SBR friendly states.
Perfect
I have been using this stock for the last 2 years. Of all the buttstock systems I've used this is by far my favorite. It is perfect for those who have to wear body armor and like to run with the stock collapsed in tight. I normally run this with an 11.5 inch 5.56 Bravo Company upper and it functions flawlessly suppressed or unsupressed. Recently I built an 8 inch 300 blackout upper and have used both subsonic and supersonic suppressed/unsupressed and still have had zero malfunctions. I believe the buffer is 3.5 oz. For those who want a pistol caliber buffer go to heavybuffers.com but be prepared to pay big bucks.
smooth pull
Just a really well made part. Fit and finish is excellent. Pulling the charging handle is considerably smoother than what you would find on typical mil-spec systems even the upper echelon types like Colt, DD. Has a real solid feel to it but is still relatively light weight. Not for the super tall, long arm types but still extends far enough for most adult males. Overall a very satisfied purchase and Brownells offers the cheapest price I have found.
Top notch build quality but lots of FTF
The length of pull for a normal carbine stock is too long for my wife so I bought this. With a Spikes mid-length upper the gun became a jam-o-matic whereas before it was perfectly reliable. The gun now constantly has failures to feed no matter what ammo or magazine you put in it. The gun with this stuff installed is basically useless. Swapping the old stuff back fixed the problem instantly. I bought a heavy buffer from heavy buffers. com and hopefully that will take care of the issue since the stock is otherwise perfect and the build quality is quite High.
