UBR stock mod
Purchased this from Brownell's at a very competitive price. It was a bit more complicated to install than anticipated, but after completing the install it works great. Added the weights to bring the CG of the gun closer to the shoulder. Hope to pick up a few more points in offhand this way.
Ubr 2.0
Amazing. The FDE IS A 100% MATCH TO MY UPPER
Good for AR-308
So I attach this to my Smith and Wesson MP A.R. 10 to balance the weight and I tell you what this is the best stock I ever bought its heavy , sturdy and a good counterbalance for the A.R. 10
Solid stock
This is the most solid adjustable stock Ive handled. Its home will be in my 450BM of which Im certain it will perform beautifully.
Great stock! Well-Priced
I have this stock installed on my home-built AR. I can't say enough about it! While it's a little bit more complicated to install than traditional buffer tubes/stock systems, the benefit of it's fixed-stock stability is worth the 2-3 extra steps. I really like the fact that it will accept both carbine and A5 buffer systems with the included carbine spacer. The extra length of pull provided is fantastic if you aren't shooting nose-to-charging-handle (which, arguably, you shouldn't be). Three QD points plus the sling attachment really make this stock versatile with the removable storage door being icing on the cake. While it is a little expensive, one has to consider that it takes the place of a buffer tube, castle nut, and ASAP QD endplate. Definitely recommended, especially considering the wright savings and reduced price vs the Gen 1.
UBR Gen2
I bought this item to help improve my standing performance in High power Service Rifle competition. The concept of being able to adjust LOP to better suit a solid position makes sense and so far, using a shorter LIZp for standing seems to have benefit in that it brings the CG of the rifle mass closer to the center of the body, theoretically reducing felt weight and the lever effect of a longer LOP. It will take some live and lots of dry fire to really determine where the sweet(er) spot may be.
