Great Specialty Tool
I've never liked driving the trigger guard pin with a mallet and punches. Damage to the receiver always seemed likely. In the past I cobbled together a method using a small antique c-clamp that mostly worked for installs. This tool works better, fits better, and ALSO can be used for removing that pin as well. It's the tool I wanted when I worked out the c-clamp idea. If you're only building one AR, it's likely not worth while. Some patience and care will work. If you're going to be working on multiple rifles, this little tool is a gem.

First Build
Works as advertised, but the one I received the threads have a rough spot making it a little difficult to turn. Also I had three pins included, one more than pictured.
