Great coatings
The fit and finish of the machining is easily the best I have used. I really like the heavy anodizing or whatever it is. Really durable and different than normal anodizing. Great product and I will buy more.

The best product on the market of its type and I was happy with the price. This was the Genesis of the build. This is a better handguard, upper receiver combo than even a guiselli.
Stripped SOLGW upper receiver

Perfect for something like a Forward Controls Designs EPC and the forward assist of your choice. Premium quality upper receiver! Tight tolerances, and a product the manufacturer stands by!
Good product bad shipping
Its no secret that these uppers for SOLGW are machined by Zev Technologies. They were formerly known as Mega Machine. They make the best uppers and lowers available. The product is top notch but Brownells is severely slacking on their shipping. I bought 4 of these uppers along with several other parts from Brownells. To my surprise they came in a padded bubble envelope. Several of these uppers had dings in the anodizing and dinged up threads. I have bought these before and they came perfect when shipped in a box with packing material to keep them from beating against each other when UPS gets ahold of it. Shame on Brownells for cheaping out on the packaging. I would highly recommend these uppers but I am starting to doubt Brownells commitment to their customers. This isnt my first time getting parts in a bubble envelope when they should have used a box. I will be returning 3 of the 4 uppers I purchased for being damaged in shipping.
Superb fit and finish
The sons of liberty gun works stripped upper is one of the best on the market. The fit and finish is completely first class. If you have a zev, mega, sons, or similar finish lower it will match perfectly. If you Have a standard anodized lower, the color will be noticeably different.
Not your average fit
I purchased a Scalper lower at a local gun shop and no upper to be found. I turned to the internet and found that I could purchase the upper and have it ship when it arrived through Brownell's ( thanks to a super helpful agent). It took a minute or two to come back in stock , worth the wait. It fits like bad@ss Lego's. Literally snaps together with no wiggle or slack and stays together with no pins exactly like the Sons youtube video. Awesome quality and a great shooter. Currently it is a 6.5 Gren witha18" Sons barrel. Could not be happier to not use a wedge lock. Another Sons of Liberty masterpiece in metal
