Flawless
I put one in my 300 blackout and it does exactly what a firing pin should, make primers pop. Quality part that's tough, easy to clean and American made.

Excellent Firing Pin
I've had this firing pin for about 400 rounds on my AR shooting mainly .223 and have encountered zero problems. The melonite has zero wear, no cracks have formed, no failures to ignite any primers. It fires 100% of all rounds. Feels and looks solid. Pretty simple part, not much else to say. I'd highly recommend it as a strong and rust proof AR part.

Great finish, but not quite "enhanced"
Love the melonite finish, makes it harder and easier to clean. BUT - this is not a good "enhanced" firing pin, by that I mean that it does not penetrate more (as expected) into the primer to reliably ignite 5.45x30 or 7.62x30 primers in those types of AR-15's. My 7.62x39 AR and my 5.45x39 AR had several failures to fire in every 20 round box I put through them until I got an actual "enhanced" firing pin from another retailer. I like the melonite finish, perhaps that's what they meant by their version of "enhanced". The Q&A section answer from Brownells led me to believe they'd work for 5.45x39 and 7.62x39, but unfortunately, that is not the case. The other enhanced firing pin I got protruded an extra few thousandths of an inch more which did the trick.

doesn't work
Very simple, mil spec NO, coated and nice to look at yes, very simply it doesn't work. The firing pin is to short, it does not penetrate the firing pin hole on any of my bolts,
