AR-15 REDUCED POWER SPRING KIT Reviews & Ratings

Reduced-power springs provide a 3.5 pound trigger pull when used with J.P. triggers, and a pull of 4.5 to 5 pounds when used with standard trigger components. Includes hammer spring, trigger return spring, and disconnector spring. Installation instructions also explain engagement surface polishing to obtain a smooth, reliable trigger.

This spring setup will give good ignition reliability with domestically manufactured ammunition and properly seated primers. Do not use foreign-manufactured ammunition because the primers in such ammo are often extremely hard and will give poor ignition with this spring kit. These springs are designed for recreational use ONLY and should NOT be installed in a Duty or Home Defense firearm where reliability is foremost.

Got these in most of my lowers

I have had very good experiences with this set of springs, I've never had a light primer strike yet with Tula and Wolf so far. My original set is 4 or 5 years old and still going strong. I use the CMMG standard trigger with these springs. The PSA EPT trigger just doesn't seem as smooth as the CMMG with these springs. This a low-cost way to having a good trigger.

Immediate difference in a milspec trigge

Put these on a milspec trigger and the pull was probably 50% reduced right off the bat. I did a light polish (to get rid of machine marks) and lubed the sear and likely have a 4lb trigger at this point (don't have the pull gauge to measure it, but it's somewhere between the Geissele SSA-E on a different rifle and stock Glock trigger ... but closer to the Geissele) So far I've not experienced a single failure to fire when using these springs

Have used 6 of these kits and found that they work exactly as advertised and are easy to install.

Will make a big difference

My go to trigger spring kit to reduce the pull weight on the basic Ar 15 trigger system. Light enough to make a big difference and yet reliable enough to function with most popular brands of American commercial ammunition . Russian steel junk is not included.
