Feels good when mounted. Hard to remove.
Easy to install and mount on your rail. However if you need to remove it, its a big PITA. Make sure where you mount it is exactly where you want it for a while.
Nice Product
These things are really nice. I have found that they are a little tricky to pry off. It takes two solid blunt objects like two #2 phillips screwdrivers or two dummy rounds but when they are on they are very solid.I like that they come in short sections. That gave me the versatility to cover my entire 12 inch rail with them. They completely protect my rail from getting dinged and scratched. It does give the hand guard of my AR a bit of a bulkier feel but not excessively in my opinion. A nice feature is that they are in two sections allowing two panels of different colors to be snapped together. I purchased half OD green and half FDE panels. By snapping a green half panel to a FDE half panel I was able to make a cool camo checker pattern. I have seen images on the internet where people used all four available colors to make a camo pattern. My complaint about these panels is that they don't come very many per package. I had to buy a bunch of them to completely cover a 12 inch rail on three sides. That kind of added up.
