A bit longer with a dimple to ease disassembly. Complete with springs/detents.
Excellent pins
The fit (they are standard, not oversize) and finish is perfect, the dimples are helpful for disassembly, and they are slightly longer which again helps with pushing them out, but they don't protrude so much to snag on things. And on top of it all, they're at a good price. If only they came in gray for some of the old school rifles.
Great pins
These are great takedown and pivot pins. Smoother and better-finished than most OEM pins, they operate much more easily without being "loose" or unreliable. They have a very slightly longer profile, make it easier to start them out from the offside. Great product.
Little longer than milspec
The CMMG pins stick out just a tad longer than milspec which makes disassembly of my rifle quicker and user friendly, usually just by pushing the pins with my thumbs. No tools required. I keep a spare set handy just in case.
Quality parts, install same
Installed on an Aero precision lower with no problems (perfect tolerances) and the pins aesthetically were solid and smooth (no burrs, dents, scratches). Theyre HD because of the material (and heft?)? I dont know if heavy duty is a gimmick because how much you can abuse takedown pins??? Either way Im very happy with this purchase.
