The MOE SL Stock – Mil-Spec Model (MOE Slim Line) is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15/M4 carbines using Mil-Spec sized receiver extension tubes.

Designed for the modern battlefield, the sleek profile, dual-side release latches, rolled toe, and angled rubber butt-pad are optimized for use with body armor or modular gear and provides for efficient shoulder transitions.

It's "okay"

It has 2 flat springs just inside the hole for the buffer tube. (One on each side) It was VERY difficult to install on a brand new mil-spec tube I'd bought in this same order. Once I finally got it on the tube, it rattled. So I removed it and one of those 2 springs I mentioned, had come out of it's mounting slots. I could not figure a way to re-install it, so I called Magpul. Got rputed to their, "Please leave your name and number and your call will be returned in the order it was received" messages. It's been over a week now without hearing from them. Looks nice, and doesn't catch my beard like my VLTOR does is the only reason I rated it as high as I did. (3 stars)

VERY tight fit on my mil-spec carbine

Very pretty and sturdy. No doubt it's a quality product. But it was too tight by far. Measured my buffer tube several times, always mil-spec dimensions, but once installed, simply changing positions on this required immobilizing the muzzle and pushing/pulling with my weight. Simply had to be out of spec, and I would like to replace it, but I'm thinking if I get another mil-spec this tight, then it's return #2. Ugh. From reading the other reviews, I'm assuming this was simply a bad one that got past QC. Finish and quality are exceptional. If it fit, five stars for sure.
