This is the second BCM Mod 0 for me - best grip IMO and I will continue to buy them for any AR lower setup. This second one went on an MDT Chassis to replace a grip with a thumb shelf, which was too wide for me and uncomfortable. Swapping this one in was a night/day difference. The ONLY thing I don't like about these, is they come with.a flat-head screw instead of an allen head screw, which is a bit more difficult to install. Fortunately I had an allen and used that instead.
Perfect Fit for my BRN-180 Lower
It is somewhat challenging to find a good grip in today's market that properly fits the BRN-180 lower; any AR grip with a beavertail won't, for example. (It would be helpful if Brownell's would so advise BRN-180 lower customers, right up front.) I overlooked that the Brownell's lower parts kit lacks a grip when I first placed my order (my error), and after expending additional time getting a Magpul grip that I thought would work from Brownell's (which unfortunately had a beavertail) and checking local suppliers, I eventually purchased three compatible grips from Brownells, While the other two (MILSPEC) would work perfectly fine, I prefer the Gunfighter grip. Form and texture are superior in my opinion, fit is excellent, and I like the small internal storage compartment. All the gyrations (aggravated by delayed shipping times over the Christmas holidays) delayed my complete build by about a month, but I certainly like the completed weapon.
Great Look and Feel
Recently installed on a stripped lower, more vertical grip of the Mod 0 feels really good. Other primary AR has a Magpul K grip with beavertail, and i prefer this one. Didn't have black available but doesn't really matter. Install was easy of course, slid right onto the lower. Would and will buy again.
PERFECT for my hands!
Its just the perfect for me! I now have this on 2 rifles. BTW if you want black just use RIT & dye it. I have longer arms & larger hands but I dont have fat fingers. The angle doesnt tire my wrist as fast & between the palm swell & size its the right amount of material for me to grasp. I switched from a Magpul K grip to this & would not look back!
BCM MOD-0 Gunfighter grip
This grip is by far my favorite. I own 4 of the MOD-0 grips they are very ergonomic. One word of caution. If you intend to use the piece that bridges the gap between the grip and the trigger guard it is only compatible with the BCM and the flat factory trigger guard.
Works great on my Freedom Ordnance FX-9
Perfect grip for the FX-9's shorter lower since the grip doesn't have the beaver tail (that doesn't fit right on the shorter lower). Decreased angle works well on the smaller pistol platforms. Comes with 2 trigger guard fitment pieces, I used the one not shown in the stores stock grip image.
Nice grip
I put this on a MDT chasis and it works great. The two little pieces that come with it to blend into the trigger guard are a nice touch. Makes it look like this grip was manufactured just for this application. Very pleased my purchase.
Best AR Grip on the market
Perfectly molded, great texture, ideal grip angle and internal compartment. Can't beat this grip for any use.
Great Grip
I think the angle of grip which is straighter and not so angled which for me allows me to get a better finger placement. Its the perfect size for my hands where I run and hold on to the gun with one hand. If it were just a bit more grippy it would be perfect but other than that no cons for this grip. Worked well shooting on the bench to zero in the gun as well as running and gunning. Better than the Magpul grips I've had in the past.
AR-15 Build
I just installed this on my new AR-15 build and it is great. First installed the Hogue grip but didn't like the finger grooves. This grip comes with everything you need; Pistol Grip Lock Washer and Srew. I will be buying this grip again on my next build.
