Disappointing
2/5 magazines I ordered do not drop free from an Aero forged lower that has never had a problem with D&H, Surefeed, Lancer, and gen 2 and 3 PMAGs. Not only do they not drop free (it doesn't take that much friction to bind an AR mag like that after all), but they have to be muscled into the mag well to even seat when unloaded. Based on the wear I'm seeing, the front of the problematic magazines protrudes too much and is binding on the magazine well. All received magazines are dated June 2024.
I wanted to give these a try as a replacement for the now defunct Surefeed mags, and I guess the answer is, they aren't.
