M4E1 STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVERS FOR AR-15 Reviews & Ratings

The M4E1 Lower Receiver delivers billet aesthetics in a forged package. This custom-designed enhanced forging is machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum and compatible with all mil-spec AR15 parts. Aside from the visual upgrades, this custom-engineered design provides features that challenge much more expensive billet options and simplify the assembly process for the at-home builder.

M4E1 LOWER RECEIVER IMPROVEMENTS:

Threaded Bolt Catch Roll Pin - Allows for simple installation of the bolt catch and virtually eliminates the chance to damage the finish during installation (pin included). 1/16" Hex Key required for assembly.
Integrated Trigger Guard - Eliminates the possibility of breaking the trigger guard tabs by integrating the trigger guard into the lower, creating a stronger more rigid platform to build upon.
Upper Tension Screw - Allows users to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver using a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR15 upper receiver.
Threaded Takedown Pin Detent Recess - Allows user to easily install the Takedown Pin detent and spring with the use of a 4-40 set screw (no more launching detents across the room).
Increased Magwell Flare - Increased the flare of the magwell to aid in quick and efficient magazine changes.
Marked and milled to accept short-throw safety selectors, but will work with standard selectors as well.

Great Product slight flaw

As always aero precision makes a great product but the FDE ceracote on the receivers seems to make the front takedown pin hard to move tried several even without the spring and detente installed all seemed to be scraping the insides and have to take a punch and hammer to it to get it out no big deal if youre just using one upper forever but if you like to switch its kind of a hassle other than that no complaints.

Recommend but dont recommend...

The lower works and looks great... but I got my Pen*s stuck where the buffer tube screws in...

Aero Gets It Done

So I have a number of Aero lowers. Enhanced and not. This one looked like a blem to be honest. The finish wasn't the greatest. It's off getting a cerakote job now so not really a bid deal but worth mentioning. I will be closely inspecting future lowers going forward before accepting via the FFL.

Good price, fast shipping

Great product, even gave me the sale price when it went on sale a day after buying. Will purchase more in the future.

Almost perfect lower.

Great lower! Bought 2. PROS: Tight tolerances. The bolt catch screw, enlarged magwell and trigger guard are worth the cost. The fit, finish and styling are great! The only CON, I had with both lowers (hence 4 star rating), was that I needed to use a 3/32 drill bit to clean out the flashing in the pivot pin spring and detent hole in order for them to actually fit.

Total Aero quality

This is everything they say it is!! Great lines, tolerances are a bit tighter than some of the more budget friendly lowers, glad I keep multiples of some small parts. My only real criticism is the threaded bolt catch pin. I wish this lower came with a long Allen key. This was very awkward to put together with a normal sized set of keys. I am almost completely sure I stripped some of the threads.
