M4E1 STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVERS FOR AR-15 Reviews & Ratings

The M4E1 Lower Receiver delivers billet aesthetics in a forged package. This custom-designed enhanced forging is machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum and compatible with all mil-spec AR15 parts. Aside from the visual upgrades, this custom-engineered design provides features that challenge much more expensive billet options and simplify the assembly process for the at-home builder.

M4E1 LOWER RECEIVER IMPROVEMENTS:

Threaded Bolt Catch Roll Pin - Allows for simple installation of the bolt catch and virtually eliminates the chance to damage the finish during installation (pin included). 1/16" Hex Key required for assembly.
Integrated Trigger Guard - Eliminates the possibility of breaking the trigger guard tabs by integrating the trigger guard into the lower, creating a stronger more rigid platform to build upon.
Upper Tension Screw - Allows users to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver using a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR15 upper receiver.
Threaded Takedown Pin Detent Recess - Allows user to easily install the Takedown Pin detent and spring with the use of a 4-40 set screw (no more launching detents across the room).
Increased Magwell Flare - Increased the flare of the magwell to aid in quick and efficient magazine changes.
Marked and milled to accept short-throw safety selectors, but will work with standard selectors as well.

My go to lower for AR15 projects - you can pay more, but you want get better. Love the screw-in retainer for the hold-back release and adjustment screw inside the pistol grip attach area that reduces rattle with 3rd party uppers. And I always pair with my favorite trigger - LaRue

I’ve built a lot ARs over the years and I’ve found that AP makes the best the parts that I’ve come across. They are rock solid, clean, and not over priced like the more “premium” brands. All of my go to ARs are built with AP upper and lowers. Also, if you’re building a gun or looking to upgrade check out their enhanced buffer tube. I’ve switched out most of my milspec buffer tubes to these.

Aero Precision Stripped Lower

Seems to be quality build, used a Daniel Defense lower kit to complete this and things fit reasonably well. The ambi safety in the DD kit is a little bit wider than the narrow aero-precision lower receiver body, so I may change that out in the future. But no complaints about the lower itself.

Very happy with my Aero Precision build!

This is the fourth AR that I have built and probably my favorite. Love this lower - it already has the trigger guard and the screw vice pin for bolt release makes the build much easier. I used a Geissele lower build kit sans trigger and pistol grip, a Geissele SD-E trigger, the VLTOR A5 buttstock kit with an A5 buffer and the Geissle 42 rifle-length sping, a Geissele enhanced bolt, the Aero Precision M4E1 threaded upper no forward assist, the BA Hanson 16 inch midlength barrel, the Atlas MOE handguard, Magpul MOE pistol grip, Dead Air Xeno flash hider (for my suppressor) and the Steiner 5X prism scope. It shoots great, is light and quick handling. It's my go-to varmint, coyote and feral hog rifle. Shoots smooth, almost no recoil. Aero Precision M4E1 are definitely top quality at a reasonable price!
