Good
Hand guard slip ring color is off. Supposed to be colt gray, this is more a silver color.
12.7 1/7 NO M4 RAMPS
Great barrel and well made. HOWEVER, this does not have M4 ramps like some have suggested so please take that into consideration. Happy with it otherwise.
Pretty good fascimile
Pretty good base for a project. Came with the bayonet lug ground off and the round front sight post. However, some work still had to be done: the FSB seam was easily filed down and the markings ground, then a coat of dark gray primer made it look authentic; the front swivel was drilled out and a roll pin placed for more accuracy; finally, the slip ring was replaced with a delta profile ring. Once all that was done and the flash hider and grenade ring were installed, spot on, Good value.

11.5" barrel
Heads-up! So, the barrel assembly looks good EXCEPT mine (11.5", 1/12") came with a neutered, non-bayo lug FSB. So, that was a little annoying and I'll probably end up swapping out the FSB for a proper one at some point. Obviously, a bayonet lug is useless on an 11.5" barrel assembly, but neutered FSBs are pretty lame. Especially when most of the folks buying one of these is building a retro carbine and is trying to achieve that "look."
Strongly recommend silencer
I purchased this product to make a basic shorty run gun. I was having considerable problems with it short stroking. It was definitely built for use with a silencer. Under gassing being the problem. I attached a Silencerco ASR flash hider, and tried a few different cans. It worked great. If you want to shoot it without a can, I recommend a very light buffer. Without the can, I use one with 2 steel weights and 1 hollow brass weight.
Good barrel
Like others noted it did have an F marked front sight block. Unlike the others I installed this on a flat top reciever with an A2 carry handle and I still had to burry the post to zero which confuses me since it should have worked.
