Works Great!
1st AR build. This made the process go smooth when working on the lower.
Great idea
Don't know why this wasn't created long ago, 1 Vice Block for AR10's and AR15's - what a great idea. And the internal clamp (anti-wobble lever) is a plus.

AR lower block
Just received in the mail, have not used as of yet.
I have several other types of receiver blocks but this one is solid. Read the review for a tip.
This block locks the receiver solidly in place. The only issue is you have to loosen the vise to release the receiver which is a bit of a pain because the block does not stay in place. Therefore, I install the block so that the metal squeeze plates are positioned above the vise jaws. Then, I use a clamp to apply pressure to the squeeze plate, which holds the receiver solidly in place. It works great.

Brownells AR15/AR10 Reversible Vise Block
I bought this interesting and fairly unique Lower Vise block and gave it to a AR builder to try. He was very impressed and said that it worked better than the standard lower vise blocks he'd been using for years. He especially liked the folding "ears" that clamp and firmly hold either the AR15 lower or by reversing the vise block for an AR10, the lockup was solid with no movement whatsoever of either lower.

Must have
Greattool, works perfect. Great addition to the AR line.
Not quite as good as expected
The fact that this tool works for both AR15s and AR10s should have gotten it a 5. But, it doesn't hold the lower as tightly when in the vice as I thought it would. There is some amount of movement on the block when working with the receiver. Honestly, the Real Avid tool holds the lower much more tightly.
