AR-15 LOWER PARTS KIT

AR-15 LOWER PARTS KIT Reviews & Ratings

The Geissele AR-15 Lower Parts Kit contains all 17 parts necessary to get your lower receiver operational - minus the trigger and pistol grip. Geissele is renowned for superbly designed, meticulously manufactured products, and these parts meet their high standards. Items in the AR-15 Lower Parts Kit are manufactured to "mil-spec" (M16 / M4) dimensions to ensure optimum fit and function in your AR rifle or carbine. The Geissele AR-15 Lower Parts Kit includes:

  • Bolt catch
  • Bolt catch plunger / spring / roll pin
  • Mag release
  • Mag release button
  • Mag release spring
  • Buffer retainer spring
  • Safety
  • Buffer retainer
  • Safety detent & spring
  • Triggerguard & roll pin
  • Takedown detents & springs
  • Pivot / takedown pins

The fire control system - trigger, hammer, disconnector (and pins) - may be the most "personal" part of any custom AR-15. Along with the pistol grip, it’s the area most customizers and custom builders prefer to select very carefully. As a result Geissele omits both components from this AR-15 Lower Parts Kit so you don’t have to spend money on parts you won’t use!

Great lower parts kit
I like to add my own trigger group and grip, so this parts kit was perfect. Everything I needed was there. Good quality parts. Will definitely order again if needed, The price was really reasonable as well. .

Quality fit.
Any lesser review was likely written by inexperienced laypersons not adept at the skill sets required for installation. Perfect fit in any true Mil-spec quality lower. SOLGW receiver functions flawlessly. Have the right tools and punches and know what you’re doing and there’s zero problem. Perfect kit.

Exact same from Geissele
Ordered two of these kits direct from Geissele when they had them in stock, then ordered some here at Brownells when they were in stock. Exact same, fit in the Aero lowers and fit in the Geissele lower I had no problem. Everything fit great. Not sure why all the bad reviews. For $50 I will be buying more to have on hand.

All lower parts needed.
All the parts fit correctly.

Bought two, both were perfect.
Im surprised by some of the negative reviews. Mine were both perfect and went together with no issues. Particularly the roll pins, these were some of the easiest Ive driven in. No marring of the lower.

Perfect lower parts kit
If you are putting this in a quality lower, you can bet on this parts kit. No going wrong with Geissele.

Perfect Retro Parts
Ordered this expecting black parts, which I would swap with some Colt parts I have, so I could build a retro rifle. They arrived a deep grey/brown parkerized color. They match my NDS receivers almost perfectly. My ONE exception for the retro part standard is that the trigger guard is black and the safety has a right-hand-side notch, instead of being flat. This is a mil-spec Geissele made LPK. There is no "G" anywhere, but there is an "S" on the bolt release. It came in a bag labeled Geissele and mil-spec." This isn't some super slick modern cream-of-unobtanium finished parts set. It's basic, affordable, and trustworthy parts. * I have posted this as an edit to my previously typo-ridden review ** By limited functionality I mean that it is a basic kit.

Just what I needed
It's a "MILSPEC" lower parts group less the fire control group (hammer, trigger, related pins and springs) and grip (and associated screw). I didn't need the trigger guard (or associated roll pin), and I'm guessing you won't either, but no big deal. Also, and rather inexplicably, this came with a disconnecter spring. You know what they say: "It's better have it and not need it than...", oh, nevermimd; you simply won't need this spring if you actually meant to order this kit. Otherwise, the negative reviews had no basis in reality if these buyers received what I received. The color on the exterior parts was fine, the roll pins were fine, etc. There simply was no drama, either good or bad; it just worked. If you need this, don't overthink it; just buy it. Oh, and plan to put the disconnecter spring in that little baggie of random AR parts that I know you have.

Good Quality mil-spec parts kit
Writing this review because of some of the crazy reviews I saw on here. This is a standard mil-spec parts kit. Theres no fancy G marks on it and dont know why someone would even think that. Fits perfectly and had all the parts you need for your lower. Im very happy with it and will buy it over and over.
