Order with confidence
I have installed both the mlok G3 and lightweight on different rifles. Great product that matches spec. No downside that I've found. I chose the lightweight over the G4 for my lightweight build because I knew what optic I was going to run and that I would not need the full top rail. Like the barrel nut and the rail has been rock solid.

Easy to install and works great: AAA+++
Weight of handguard, steel barrel nut, index tab and two screws is only 9.8 ounces. Only downside is the price, but still costs less than the composite handguards currently out.

very impressed
Purchased this for use with a 14.5 in upper I am building. Fit and finish are impressive, good written instructions included, installation video on MI website also. Very happy with finished upper, mounted with no problems, would buy again if I needed.

Good Handguard, M-Lok and Lightweight
Slim, sleek and overall an improvement over the round A2 and A4 style handguards. As someone who favors quad-rail I am still impressed by the durability of the handguard. Way better than Keymod for sure though.

Good Lightweight Rail
Bought the 12.625" version for a WWSD lightweight build. The handguard, barrel nut and hardware weigh exactly 8.7oz just like Midwest says, not including the optional polymer M-LOK picatinny section. The handguard/barrel nut fit is extremely tight, but that's a good thing. I was a little surprised the barrel nut is steel, an aluminum barrel nut would have made it even lighter. The QD points also have anti-rotation stops. Overall fit and finish of the rail was good, but I did touch up one spot with some alumablack, although most people probably wouldn't have noticed or cared.

Looks great, frustrating install
Love the look, feel, and weight of the handguard. Unfortunately, one of the two tension screws stripped before hitting 40 inch pounds, so I ended up having to use a longer 10-32 and adding a nut to the other side. Saw online that it’s only happened to a few other people, so not sure if it’s a real problem (yes, I made sure to use inch pounds and not foot pounds). Brownells service was quick as always!
