Didn't fit, too tight

This didn't fit my barrel. I measured with calipers and the gas block's inside diameter was 0.743", a bit too small to slide over the barrel which I measured at exactly 0.750".

Failure!

1. There is a slight overlap of the gas hole in the block to the gas hole in the Brownells and Delton gas tubes. I had tried two gas tubes to verify fit. The gas hole in the block and the tube should line up together, but they didnt. 2. There was a slight bur left in the manufacturing process on the gas hole in the block. There were also two large burs left from the tapping of the set screw holes. When I originally put the gas block on the barrel I didnt think to check for burs. The burs in the gas block caused scraping and gouging on the barrel where the burs made contact. I had to take the gas block off and sand down the burs to eliminate the gouging. 3. As I torqued down one of the allen/hex set screws with an allen wrench I heard a pop. I looked at the gas block and found that the one of the set screws had cracked length wise down the screw. I tried to get the screw out as quickly as I could because it had blue Loctite on it. While attempting to remove the cracked set screw the head of the screw fell apart into several pieces. I then had to drill the screw out in order to remove the gas block from the barrel. I drilled through the screw and left a few thousands of an inch of material behind from the screw. I did not want to drill into the barrel so thats why I lift some of the screw material behind. I then tapped the gas block off the barrel, which left more gouging on the barrel. Im not happy with the quality of this gas block. I decided to order a YHM gas block to replace this one. I hope the YHM gas block is better quality.
