AR-15 GAS BLOCK LOW PROFILE

AR-15 GAS BLOCK LOW PROFILE Reviews & Ratings

Slim replacement for cumbersome USGI front sight/gas block tower features a low profile for a more streamlined appearance and less chance of snagging on vegetation and other gear. Covers only 1" of barrel length and reduces weapon’s forward weight for improved handling and maneuverability. Clamp On models squeeze around the barrel with included socket head screws. Set Screw models use included set screws at the bottom of the unit to anchor the gas block to the barrel for the lowest-profile installation.

Needs refinement
Like another reviewer commented, the screw heads want to cleave off once you tighten (perhaps over-tighten?) them down. Vltor was kind enough to send me a new pair of screws after I broke one during installation. I like the slim profile of the gas block, which does seem hardy, but I would get their model with the bottom screws instead if I were you.
